Why Cosmos?

Writer's picture: The 6 Bear JourneyThe 6 Bear Journey

Updated: Oct 5, 2020

Many moons ago I had a desire to write a book about my life and the struggles that ultimately shaped me, which include the story of my mother. I realised I'm more of a keep it short and sweet kind of girl, so blogging was my answer. We as a family are also being prepared to "GO OUT" and do what God has called us for and this is an easy way to keep in contact with those praying with us on our journey and sharing what God is busy doing. We will literally be like comos in the wind...

Cosmos is a beautiful flower that grows spontaneous in nature, without much effort it seems or nurturing by human hand. Yet, humanity enjoys the beauty of it every year. It is also drought tolerant and when they die, they become compost to feed the earth for a new season's flowers. Cosmos means beautiful and give attributes of peacefulness and wholeness. Pests don't seem to bother them aswell.

With that said: God plants us, each with a purpose. What are you going to do with the life you've been given?

This is my motivation behind the title. I see my life as a Cosmos in the wind, created by God for a specific purpose and led by the wind (Holy Spirit).
