The wind is howling hard around us. It feels like we might be blowing away. The icy cold wind cuts through our flesh like a blade. Then the heavens opened, and rain poured down, so that everything turned into muddy puddles. Something beautiful happens when you get to the end of yourself. There is nowhere to turn, but God and His mercy and grace sweep you up and covers you.
The realization hits that God has a bigger picture that we can't comprehend. It is not about us! Only God can stir in us the love for people. The love He has for us, we are only capable of displaying a fraction without Him. I am overwhelmed by the thought of what it might look like if everyone operated in the love God intended us. But somewhere, the human race lost our song of worship and made a choice not to. Whether we want to admit it or not, God created us with an inborn knowing of Him. He created our DNA to sing with the rest of creation, but it is our choice to embrace it.
How magnificent the song we vibrate when we go deeper into God's love when we seek out His truth.

Oh, how my heart rejoices to experience the splendor of nature unfolding in front of my eyes! It is winter, yet life is sprouting up! Surrounded by green bushes in the middle of the desert, blossoms await bloom in the seeming nothingness. We are in God's flower garden, eagerly awaiting full color.
Isaiah 61:3 "...to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of Adonai, that He may be glorified."
