Clay in the hand of the potter...

Writer's picture: The 6 Bear JourneyThe 6 Bear Journey

Colossians 3:23 "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord..."

Greetings to all following our journey. I sincerely hope this post finds you well and blessed.

After posting my previous letter, in a hurry, because of crying babies, toddler hands getting up to no good and older kids either needy or nagging (I sound like a broken, stuck trackšŸ˜¬), I told my hubby, "What a terrible post! All I read is I,I,I, me, me, me...

I felt so ashamed, I did not even want to share it!

Oh, what therapy it has been, writing that blog though! So let me be brutally honest and vulnerable here. I totally bought into the voice of the world/enemy! Telling me the hardest part is still to come. Instead of focusing, relying and trusting on God to carry me, I felt like I need to prepare for the worst. I got into some bad self-pity, quickly spiralling down into a depressive state. When God showed me my sin, I repented and a weight was lifted off my heart. The burden was gone! My whole demeanour changed. Proverbs 15:13 " A happy heart makes the face cheerful..."

Seems like we have settled in and most adjustments done and dusted. We can really fully focus on God's plan and calling. When we arrived here in Hazyview, God told me to go walk up and down the airstrip. I'm sure I looked like a loon talking to myself. Obedience is such a wonderful thing. God ministered to my heart and showed me that He will send someone to us, that we must disciple and teach. Someone that can start a fellowship here, will influence people & continue God's work.

Yesterday, here arrives Goodman, asking about baptism. I was so excited, I could jump out of my skin. I stand in awe of God's amazing, perfect will and how He wove His perfect plan together! Everytime He shows Himself faithful, it encourages my spirit so much and bestow unto me fresh boldness to be His hands and feet šŸ™Œ šŸ‘£.

Isaiah 64:8 " We are the clay, You are the potter; we are all the work of Your hand."

Romans 9:21 "Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay an elegant vase or an ordinary pot?" (NIV & TPT combined)
