So spring has arrived and everyone is expectant of a new season. We all can agree that it has been a challenging few months, but in the midst God has been working. What are we going to do with what God has been dealing with? Are we just going to conveniently forget about it or make work of it?
Seasons will come and go untill the end of ages and in it we change and grow or remain the same, a neverending story...
God is working in my heart and dealing with fleshly issues, which causes growth if we allow it! Acknowledging where I still lack, humbles me, because God is showing me how much He can use us in His Kingdom to bring about change in this broken world! BUT we are stiff necked, stubborn children :(
After lockdown, a few people shared with me how it has shaken them. Then I heard Abba's voice saying; "Did I not prompt you to pray diligently for this person, did I not press them on your heart frequently?" This is a war for their soul, because as hard a God is at work, so hard the enemy tries to push back. The enemy was keeping me occupied with fleshly struggles, which numbed me to fight effectively in God's war! It dawned on me how important it is to be unmoved by this world. To be steadfast and unshaken in peace, in the midst of the storms!
May the Spirit of God make His Word alive in our ears, mind and heart, so that we will start to really believe it and live it!
Heb 4:12 For the Word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Phil 2:12&13 ...continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill His good purpose.
